Sports Fishing

Overview

Spend the morning or afternoon with one of our local experienced bi-lingual fishing guides.   Take your pick of a morning (7:00-11:30) or evening session(2:00-6:30) to fish our diverse fishery.

Each guide boat can accommodate up to 2 clients.  You will be picked up at the creek just a short walk down the trail to meet your guide and boat.  You will travel the costal jungle shoreline to your fishing destination whether it be the border of Panama and the Sixaoloa River where a large population of resident Tarpon live, or possibly go a short ways off shore and look for Dorado or Tuna while trolling?

While Tarpon are our most popular target a number of species can become available during your tour.  Jack Crevalle, Snook, Kingfish, Dorado, Snapper and more are available along our coastline.

There is nothing more impressive than feeling the line come tight and watching a 100lb Tarpon come rocketing into the air or tail walking across the water with your fly or lure in its mouth! This is why we call these fish the "Silver King".  The Tarpon fishery here in Manzanillo caters to all levels of fly & conventional fisherman from the beginner to the expert, form blind casting to sight casting.

You return back to the lodge after 4 hours of fishing.

Fly fishing or conventional gear will be provided by the lodge.
