The Manzanillo Eco Lodge is proud to be a part of the local Manzanillo, Costa Rica community. Our team members (The 3 Amigos!) consist of our lodge General Manager "Matti", Jairo & Davis. They are all residents of Manzanillo living close by when not on property. All of our lodge employees are dedicated to making your stay at the Manzanillo Eco Lodge the trip of a life time!
Mattilde "Matti"
Matti is the Manzanillo Eco Lodge's general manager working with us for over 5 years. Mattis warm smile and amazing work ethic benefit the lodge and its guests on a daily basis. Matti is available all week long during your stay to help communicate and coordinate your tours and activities. She is also in charge of the dining selections for the week and ensures you and your group are well fed and fueled for your tour days! Matti and her husband (Jairo) work together at the lodge and embody the pure spirit of Pura Vida! Mattis energy is continuous and she is eternaly anxious to share the wondrous beauty and nature of Costa Rica and the Manzanillo Eco Lodge with you!
Jairo
Jairo first came to the Manzanillo Eco Lodge as our fishing manager. His bilingual hospitality skills and talents quickly made him a popular addition to the MEL team. Jairo and his life (Matti) work together at the lodge and are always ready to show you what its like to live life Pura Vida. Jairo is available daily during your stay for help with anything and everything you might need!
Davis
Davis completes our team of three amigos being a tight knit group with Matti & Jairo. There is nothing that Davis cant or wont do to make your stay a once in lifetime visit to the Manzanillo Eco Lodge. Quite possibly the most pleasant gentleman you should every encounter. Davis will light up your day with his contagious smile and positive energy!
